BEAN PROCESS ASSISTANT (BB1) SEASONAL

This is a seasonal position reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Bean Process Assistant will monitor the bean process ensuring production targets are met according to quality specifications. Key responsibilities include:

• Communicate production needs/difficulties with the Field so that production efficiencies are maximized and downtime and waste are minimized
• Monitor process to ensure no off-grade product is processed
• Complete required paperwork and documentation
• Ensure log sheets are completed for Supervisor authorization
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections on a daily and weekly basis
• Other duties as may be assigned

• Strong organizational skills, data/record keeping
• Understand quality systems; GMP’s, HACCP and Food Safety
• Strong organizational skills including data/record keeping
• Effective communication skills, written and oral, at a Level 3 English
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, cooperation, and teamwork at all time including cross-training others
• Must display a strong sense of urgency, must be dependable, reliable and punctual
• Strong safety mindset.
• Medium to Heavy Lifter
• Standing, sitting, walking, climbing, crawling, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning, pulling/pushing, reaching, hand/eye coordination, finger/wrist dexterity, grasping/pinching, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities are required by this job to include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
• Appropriate work intensity level:  Medium
• Hourly wage is $19.65 - $20.00
