The forklift operator (cold warehouse) acts under the directives of his foreman. He ensures the movement of boxes of frozen vegetables to the appropriate locations, he loads and unloads orders in trailers, while respecting current safety standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive a forklift while respecting the organization's safety standards;
• Prepare orders using a VMU computer;
• Carry out loading and unloading of trailers according to procedures established by the shipping department;
• Handle loads, stack and unstack boxes in order to place the merchandise in the designated location;
• Check and change the batteries in your forklift;
• Keep the work environment and storage spaces clean and safe;

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold a valid forklift operator card to date (an asset).
• Ability to work with a computer;
• Be able to work with a low margin of error
• Be concerned about health and safety at work
