As HR advisor, you are directly from the HR manager with whom you will work in close collaboration. You will play an essential role by acting as the first HR contact for Canadian and American employees and managers for the head office.

This role combines advice functions and administrative responsibilities.

The role:

HR advice and support:

  • Offer enlightened advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and programs (performance management, labor relations, skills development, etc.), taking into account Canadian and American regulatory specificities;
  • Collaborate in the resolution of HR issues, ensuring a fair and fair approach;
  • Support employees and managers and participate, when necessary, in the various HR cycle processes (performance interview, talent review, etc.);
  • Support the HR manager in certain strategic files concerning the departments under its responsibility.

HR administration and pay:

  • Ensure rigorous processing and entry of the data necessary for the preparation of the pay, in collaboration with the payroll service;
  • Manage employee files (hiring, changes, departures, etc.) and keep the HR databases up to date;
  • Participate in the development and continuous improvement of HR administrative processes.

Recruitment, reception and integration of new employees:

  • Participate in need between the recruiter and managers and support them, if necessary, until the presentation of the offer;
  • Coordinate and actively participate in the reception and integration process of new members of the head office teams, whether in face -to -face or remotely;
  • Prepare the documents necessary for integration and ensure the smooth running of the first weeks.

training follow -up:

  • Ensure administrative follow -up of training activities (invoice, certifications, etc.);
  • Define the training needs of departments.

HR internal communication:

  • Participate in the writing and dissemination of internal communications.

Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience relevant to human resources including at least 1 in a advice role;
  • Baccalaureate in human resources, industrial relations or any other relevant field;
  • Significant experience in HR administration;
  • Very good mastery of French and English, to support employees in Canada and United States;
  • Good knowledge of labor standards in force in Canada (an asset in the United States);
  • Excellent relational skills;
  • Rigor and detail concern;
  • Good control of computer tools (knowledge of Google Suite, an asset).
