The inventory and logistics coordinator will be responsible for the planning, organization and results of all inventory activities at the Bedford site. In addition, he will have to ensure the constant development of business opportunities, customer service and the improvement of internal processes.

THE ROLE:

  • Produce and submit reports and analyzes to validate the inventory as well as any deviations that may occur, accompanied by their justifications
  • Responsible for performance indicators related to inventory, service level and productivity
  • Perform weekly/daily verification of inventory levels and look for potential discrepancies with the system.
  • Seize optimization opportunities (existing tools, processes, tools to be developed, etc.) aimed at increasing the level of service, individual and overall efficiency
  • Ensure the configuration of the IT system in connection with inventory management and development.
  • Support the manager and the team in carrying out all other related tasks
  • Participate with the logistics team to resolve issues and find opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Carry out the monthly “cycle count” for warehouses on a weekly basis
  • Optimize the flow of goods to facilitate shipping/receiving operations on a daily basis

PROFILE:

  • University training in operations and production management (GOP) or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management
  • Knowledge of transportation and warehousing industry standards
  • Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written)
  • Good command of the MS Office suite (Excel advanced level)
