As an Inventory Coordinator, you manage, control and report inventory movements and quantities on hand for bulk and finished products, raw materials, pallets and packaging materials to ensure inventory accuracy.
You participate in month-end reconciliations, implement inventory control processes and liaise between factory operations and the inventory team to validate data quality and improve tracking processes.
THE ROLE:
- Work closely with operations, internal warehouses and external 3PL partners to manage inventory transactions, both manual and EDI;
- Analyze, approve and document inventory adjustment transactions for finished goods, semi-finished goods, raw materials/ingredients and packaging;
- Lead, monitor and document the inventory cycle count program, ensuring timely tracking and resolution of discrepancies;
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliations for external warehouses and product locations;
- Review, validate and code invoices from external warehouses, pallet rental suppliers and co-packing partners;
- Extract, sort, analyze and interpret inventory data using IT systems and Excel, translating results into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and key business partners;
- Prepare concise and accurate KPI reports to support business decision making;
- Identify and provide solutions for inventory risks, including expired, slow-moving or obsolete products and components;
- Maintain and continuously improve inventory standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with best practices;
- Assist the customer service team with inventory-related issues, including stock-outs, billing assistance, and resolving backorders;
- Assist the quality team by tracking inventory status, holds and product locations;
- Work directly with co-packers to reconcile work orders and track production volumes.
PROFILE:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control;
- Experience in production, manufacturing and material inventory is an asset;
- Diploma in logistics or any other related training;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in English and French;
- Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail;
- Advanced mastery of Excel and/or Google Sheets (sorting, analyzing large data sets);
- Ability to translate complex data into clear and meaningful information;
- Autonomy and ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
- Proven ability to adapt to a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.
