The incumbent is responsible for planning, directing and supervising all maintenance and repair activities of equipment and infrastructure at the Sainte-Martine plant to ensure operational efficiency, employee safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

THE ROLE:

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies in order to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime;
• Lead, train and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a safe and productive work environment;
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety policies and procedures, as well as applicable environmental and industrial regulations.
• Develop, monitor and control operating budgets (OPEX maintenance);
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for the acquisition of services and parts, ensuring the best quality-price ratio;
• Develop the medium and long-term technical plan as well as the annual investment budget (CAPEX), in collaboration with management and production;
• Manage investment projects such as the installation of new lines, modernization, expansion and others;
• Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing production processes and equipment reliability.

PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience;
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the food industry or a related industry.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as programmable logic controllers (PLC). Mastery of CMMS tools;
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills;
• Bilingual: French and English
