LABELING PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER - DAY

The Team Leader ensures proper implementation to plan, direct and control all
day-to-day operations activities. He/she must ensure a regular presence on the production floor,
analyze problems and implement solutions after confirming with the production director. He/she
directly leads a team on various production projects.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to carry out his/her missions, the Team Leader is required to:
● Inspect the trailers of raw products/pre-lab results;
● Review the bleacher and enzymatic tests (CCP, HACCP);
● Contact the resources for the rejection of waste trucks;
● Management of empty barrels of chemicals ;
● Follow up/verify production documents (during and after the end of the shift): missing, unsigned or incomplete documents);
● Perform an inspection of the line after a shutdown, repair;
● Manage employee breaks on the floor;
● Complete documents for inspections during production (ensure tools are put away, cleaning done, GMP are respected, etc.);
● Complete/Monitor incident reports on the quality and OHS tablet. Participate in accident investigations;
● See to the application of occupational health and safety rules/procedures/policies (lockout, wearing gloves,
Dupont stop, forklift inspection and other audit);
● Ensure that sanitizer is applied after each stop;
● Ensure that employees wear PPE properly (gloves, glasses especially);
● Collect anomalies, collect the causes of observed malfunctions, participate in the implementation
of necessary corrective actions;
● Notify the appropriate people of things to be corrected after cleaning;
● Complete quality and sanitation reports at established frequencies and adequately (complete the
Paperless sanitation reports);
● Complete production reports (PVC, consumption monitoring water);
● Respond to different requests/problems from production employees and, if necessary, act as an operator
on the production line;
● Keep the plant running at a minimum (leave the plant, shut down the plant, prepare for defrosting, follow up
during and after a defrost, bleacher, optical sorter, R2);
● Do the DMS1 and follow the KPIs with the team on the floor;
● Take instructions upon arrival and pass them on to the next team at the end of the shift;
● Manage an operations team: production, labeling, etc.
● Organize the work of your team and manage production planning according to resources (human,
technical, supply, security, etc.);
● Organize and control the sanitation program for equipment under your responsibility and do
sanitation;
● Any other task related to the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

● Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position
● Work experience in a food factory is an asset
● Rigor and organization
● Quality interpersonal communication
● Analysis and synthesis
● Master production software (MXP, BlueBee, Paperless, Google Drive)
● Monitor and manage production indicators (KPIs)
● Train your employees
● Integrate new employees
● Run a production / labeling line
● Respect and enforce the rules of hygiene, quality, safety and
environment in your sector
