Base salary
Your daily role
- To safely and efficiently be a support operator on the packaging line
- Troubleshoot to minimize downtime
- Be a liaison between supervisors and maintenance to express downtime concerns and efficiency opportunities.
- Ensure plant is kept up to a 6S standard
- Help out other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
Your profile
- Ability to lift or move equipment / materials weighing up to 60 pounds unassisted
- Ability to coach and lead work teams to achieve safety, performance, quality, cost and service goals
- Be proactive and possess good analytical and problem solving skills
- Work in safe efficient manner
- Forklift is considered an asset
- Be available to work rotating shifts as dictated by production needs
- Be available for either 8, 10, or 12 hr. shifts
- Able to work alone for extended periods of time
- Comply with health and safety standards and requirements
- Ensures proper use of PPEs and hazard controls in place
