Base salary

$19/Hour - $21/Hour (USD)

Your daily role

You'll invest the majority of your time in three key areas: 

  • Safety -  
    • Adhere to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Quality - 
    • Ensure that proper and legible records of the production logs are maintained
    • Ensure good housekeeping is maintained
    • Facilitate bottom-up communication to bring attention to management any ideas or equipment modifications that will help lower production costs
    • Contribute to the implementation of the daily and weekly production schedule for the line he/she is responsible for
    • Ensure the production schedule is followed and create proper logs if any modifications is needed
    • Be conscious of quality issues to ensure the highest level of finished product
  • Production
    • Operate production line and support equipment
    • Perform line setups and changeovers as needed
    • Leads and guides production associates working on the production line
    • Follows production plan while minimizing the risk of downtime, wasted product, and supplies
    • Responsible for safety and food safety of the production line
    • Complete line inspections and applicable related paperwork
    • Responsible for process and quality procedures for the line he/she operates
    • Work with supervisor to achieve daily productivity and recovery goals

 

 

Your profile

  • Experience in a food processing environment is preferred but optional. 
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in noisy, damp, cold conditions and working near moving mechanical parts
