Base salary
Your daily role
You'll invest the majority of your time in three key areas:
- Safety -
- Adhere to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Quality -
- Ensure that proper and legible records of the production logs are maintained
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained
- Facilitate bottom-up communication to bring attention to management any ideas or equipment modifications that will help lower production costs
- Contribute to the implementation of the daily and weekly production schedule for the line he/she is responsible for
- Ensure the production schedule is followed and create proper logs if any modifications is needed
- Be conscious of quality issues to ensure the highest level of finished product
- Production
- Operate production line and support equipment
- Perform line setups and changeovers as needed
- Leads and guides production associates working on the production line
- Follows production plan while minimizing the risk of downtime, wasted product, and supplies
- Responsible for safety and food safety of the production line
- Complete line inspections and applicable related paperwork
- Responsible for process and quality procedures for the line he/she operates
- Work with supervisor to achieve daily productivity and recovery goals
Your profile
- Experience in a food processing environment is preferred but optional.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Comfortable working in noisy, damp, cold conditions and working near moving mechanical parts
