Your daily role
- Provide accurate and legible daily production records
- Perform preliminary quality check on product verify integrity of packaging materials, coding clarity and legibility
- Support line operator to perform effective changeovers and accurate robot set up
- Support sanitation team to ensure all packaging equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly to HACCP and Food Safety specifications
- Inspect for cleanliness and correct deficiencies immediately following cleaning and prior to moving on to next assignment
Your profile
- OSSD or equivalent
- Previous food handling experience with mechanical aptitude
- Ability to meet physical demands of material handling, working at heights, working rotating shifts, climbing stairs in a cold environment
- Quality conscious mindset and good attention to detail with critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills in order to encourage solution-based outcomes;
- A builder of teams and positive work environment
Hours of work:
- rotating 8 hour shifts between days, afternoons and nights
- shifts are Sunday night through Friday afternoon
- may include overtime opportunities on weekends
