The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for identifying areas for improvement, developing process optimization strategies, and implementing best practices to increase productivity and reduce waste.

THE ROLE:

  • Study operational processes, formulate optimization recommendations and implement changes to improve performance including carrying out test scenarios.
  • Analyze indicators and investigate performance gaps, particularly in the event of over- or under-consumption of ingredients.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and activities using quantitative data. 
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to review recommendations to increase efficiency and establish standards for key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other process improvement methods in the different departments.
  • Lead training workshops and coaching to develop continuous improvement capabilities.
  • Implement decision support solutions maximizing artificial intelligence tools.
  • Design and model analysis tools using ETL mechanisms.
  • Work in accordance with established safety practices and procedures and report any dangerous situations or quality issues to those responsible.

PROFILE:

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, ideally with specialization in food production, packaging and processing.
  • Proven experience: identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Diploma in process engineering or manufacturing technologies, or bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and drive collaboration and change.
  • Has the ability to use various IT tools to optimize production and reduce waste.
