Your daily role
The production supervisor plans, directs and controls all production activities. He/she must ensure a regular presence on the floor, analyze problems and implement reliable solutions
- Participate in risk prevention/management: internal and external incident investigations, dangerous situation declaration, risk analysis, information from the group.
- Ensure management of personal protective equipment (PPE) for these teams
- See to the application of occupational health and safety rules/procedures/policies (lockout, wearing gloves, Dupont stop, forklift inspection, etc.)
- See to the management of discipline in terms of monitoring health and safety policies at work
- Plan and monitor daily the proper functioning of the production department's systems
- Control performance, by equipment, in hours of operation in order to maintain the requested level of production and labeling and to identify constraints that could harm performance with action plans fixes
- Ensure monitoring of the sanitation/production program (procedures, personnel, chemical inventory, etc.)
- Ensure collaboration in the application of quality standards and specifications with the Quality department
- Communicate any problem, irritant or deficiency that could affect the proper functioning of the department
Your profile
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in a supervisory role;
- DEP or DEC related to the functions of the position or equivalent experience;
- Good communicator, unifier and mobilizing leader;
- Analytical, innovative and creative mind;
- Ability to communicate effectively, French and English;
- Skilled with Windows-related computer programs/software used internally;
- Intermediate knowledge of Spanish (oral, written, reading) – a great asset
