Production laborer, temporary position

Department: Production
Location: Ste-Martine, on the south shore of Montreal
Status: Temporary, from mid-August to mid-November 2026
Schedule: Day (6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.), evening (2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.) or night (10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.) (no shift rotation), Monday to Saturday
Salary: between $17.00/h and $19.77/h + shift bonus
Start: from August 13, 2026

Under the supervision of the team leader or production supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for a variety of tasks on the production line. As part of his/her work, he/she must comply with occupational health and safety rules. He/She will mainly perform manual and repetitive tasks.

YOUR DAILY ROLE:

• Ensure the correct receipt of the raw material;

• Remove vegetable residue from floors or equipment using a shovel;

• Flush conveyors/tunnels using a high/low pressure hose
• Clear certain equipment
• Keep work spaces clean;

YOUR PROFILE:

• Know how to read, write and communicate
• Pay attention to details and rigor in procedures
• Ability to lift weights (less than 50lbs)
• Follow mandatory training on good manufacturing practices
• Follow forklift training
