Your daily role

As a Procurement Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing, supporting and implementing initiatives related to procurement and replenishment. Your primary objective is to ensure effective performance of our systems, processes and tools supporting the Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay (S2C/P2P) processes of goods and services within the company as well as the processes restocking.

 

 

THE ROLE:

  • Optimization of systems and tools: Evaluate currently used procurement and replenishment systems, processes and tools. Identify areas for improvement, recommend and implement upgrades or changes to increase efficiency.

 

  • Project Planning and Execution: Support procurement and replenishment project plans to implement initiatives to improve our results.

 

  • Process Optimization: Define and analyze procurement and replenishment processes to identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs and improve agility.

 

  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors to understand system capabilities and potential enhancements. Negotiate contracts and agreements with system suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.

 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Procurement, Replenishment, IT and other relevant departments to understand their needs and challenges. Facilitate communication between different teams to ensure a unified approach to supply system improvements.

 

  • Training and Documentation: Develop training programs for end users to ensure proper use of new or upgraded systems. Create and maintain documentation relating to procurement and replenishment processes and tools.

 

  • Continuous improvement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of procurement projects and programs. Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

 

  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that all procurement systems and tools comply with industry and internal regulations and security standards. Implement measures to protect sensitive data relating to procurement and replenishment.

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of procurement, purchasing or supply chain;
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business, supply chain, computer science or a related field;
  • A certification in project management is an asset;
  • Familiarity with procurement and replenishment systems, tools and technologies;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and successfully complete projects;
  • Proficiency in French and English (collaborations across Canada and the United States).
