Base salary

$25/Hour - $29/Hour (USD)

Your daily role

  • Quality Systems and Compliance: Train employees, audit food safety and quality processes, monitor chemical systems, and ensure proper documentation and compliance with HACCP, SQF, and customer requirements.
  • Operational Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee quality records, communicate deviations and specifications, support audits, and identify opportunities to reduce waste while maintaining process integrity.
  • Safety and Food Safety Leadership: Enforce health, safety, and food safety policies, conduct safety audits, and promote a culture focused on workplace and food safety compliance.

Your profile

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in the food processing industry, product grading, or related lab functions is preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with rework and allergen programs, product holds, releases, and embargo procedures is essential.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, multitasking, and prioritization skills, along with proficiency in computer systems.
  • Physical and Environmental Requirements: Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs., and work in varied environmental conditions such as noise, heat, humidity, and proximity to chemicals or mechanical parts.
  • Schedule: December to May 4 days a week, 6 am to 4:40 pm. May to December 6 days a week - four days are 6 am-2:30 pm and 2 days are 6 am-6 pm.
