Your daily role
- Assist with operating the facility engine room
- Dismantle, lay out, change or erect refrigeration machinery or equipment
- Maintain proper and legible records of the operating system
- Make minor repairs to refrigeration equipment during operation
- Anticipate and troubleshoot routine maintenance refrigeration system problems
- Make some electrical repairs as needed
- Properly lubricate machinery
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Must work in a safe manner and use protective guards and proper PPE
- Must obey all warning tags and signs when working
- Help to produce the highest quality of finished product
- Adhere to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety
- Report any food safety, health & safety, quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.
Your profile
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ammonia refrigeration certificate
- Electronic certificate
- Two (2) years progressive experience in operating an industrial engine room with anhydrous ammonia
