Your daily role

Reporting to the CCO, the Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing - Retail National Brand is responsible for developing and executing the commercial and marketing strategy for the retail national brands across Canada.

As an inspiring leader, he will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive market share growth, brand awareness and profitability.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the retail National Brands;
  • Own the P&L for the retail National Brands;
  • Collaborate with the sales team and oversee relationships with key retailers, the broker, licensees and negotiate strategic partnerships;
  • Analyze sales performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed;
  • Design marketing plans aligned with company goals and collaborate with the marketing team to develop advertising campaigns, digital initiatives, launch new products and go-to market strategies;
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team with clear and measurable objectives.

Your profile

  • Financial acumen - has worked with P&Ls before;
  • Pricing, trade promotions, broker & sales managment and marketing;
  • Consumer marketing, innovation, NPI (New product introduction) and renovation;
  • Strategic planning;
  • Retail merchandising, planograms etc.
  • Selling skills - New product introduction, Negotiation and contracts;
  • People management and objective setting;
  • KPI design and monitoring;
  • Retail analytics, insights and RGM - tools, syndicated and customer data.
