The continuous improvement intern reports directly to the production manager and supports the site's production and maintenance team by using their technical knowledge to understand the real needs of the company. He/She will also be required to provide technical support for the mandates assigned during his internship.

YOUR DAILY ROLE:

• Manage various operational process improvement projects;
• Support the production team in carrying out their daily mandate: creation and updating of instructions and work methods, optimization of work tools, management of standard times, etc.;
• Ensure compliance with procedures, processes, laws and standards regarding health, safety, environment and quality, and integrate these notions into assigned tasks and projects;
• Data collection from production equipment;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of equipment;
• Analyze and present the collected data;
  
  

YOUR PROFILE:

• Engineering student, current or completed;
• Relevant experience with the AUTOCAD program, an asset;
• Skills in data analysis (Excel, Power BI);
• Autonomy and spirit of initiative for managing projects and priorities according to
  targeted objectives;
• Collaborative approach, focused on finding solutions.
