Pay range: $22 to $28

Your daily role

  • End-User Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to end users for computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices in a Windows environment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • System Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, test, and maintain desktop systems, networked peripherals, and hardware components, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Respond to and resolve service requests related to PC and hardware problems, including hands-on fixes, software upgrades, and system configurations.
  • Collaboration & Project Support: Work with LAN administrators and IT teams to implement new hardware and software projects, and support system upgrades across all Nortera Foods USA sites.
  • After-Hours IT Support: Participate in a rotating schedule to provide after-hours IT support, ensuring business continuity and prompt resolution of urgent technical issues.

Your profile

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, PC and network hardware, with 1–2 years of hands-on and remote troubleshooting experience; CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
  • Problem Solving & Communication: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and effectively support users.
  • Work Environment Readiness: Ability to work in varying conditions (office, factory, cold, noisy, humid) and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility & Dependability: Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable to rotating schedules including weekends and off-shifts; occasional travel required domestically and to Canada.
  • Team & Safety Orientation: Collaborative mindset with a commitment to food safety, quality standards (SQF), and safe work practices in diverse environments.
