NORTERA Lethbridge is a production facility that processes and packages frozen vegetables. We harvest peas and corn locally as well as package different frozen vegetables grown in different regions.
We are currently accepting applications for a Mechanical Line Operator.

Tu rol diario
- To safely and efficiently be a support operator on the packaging line
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Be a liaison between supervisors and maintenance to express downtime concerns and efficiency opportunities.
- Ensure plant is kept up to a 6S standard
- Help out other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
Tu perfil
- Have an acceptable attendance record
- Possess a journeyman ticket (apprentices accepted on the apprentice wage scale)
- Must be physically fit, able to climb stairs, work at heights and in freezer conditions.
- Ability to coach and lead work teams to achieve safety, performance, quality, cost and service goals
- Proven ability to define performance measures related to the business such as efficiencies
- Must possess the following traits: proactive & mechanically skilled
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility while being able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ensure that work is completed on schedule and in the time allotted
- Strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills
- Must be comfortable at giving and receiving open feedback
- Ability to work shift work and weekends
- Maintain a safe working environment
